Module
Open Ball Shape
Use Hartley’s worksheets and videos to learn the open ball shape that is used to form the cursive letters Cc, e, G, Ss, x and to start the ball letters a, d, g, Oo, Qq correctly.
The open ball (cut tennis ball) is a great tool for strengthening hand muscles and improving dexterity. Print, laminate and cut out the page of small flies for a fine motor squirrelling game using “Pinch, Flip, Slide, Grip” cues for correct action – go to Skill Builder activities module for more information.
The large fly can be printed, laminated and stuck onto straws or craft sticks to use to retell the story The Fly Trap.
