Module
Story Writing Resources
Teach students how to remember the Wh questions for story planning by using their 5 fingers to plan who are their characters, when and where is the story set, what happens and why. Add to story detail giving it a thumbs up by adding how– the problem was resolved or how the characters felt.
Use the story connections page to plan how to connect ideas together teaching children using the jigsaw to link the idea of connecting ideas.
Each of these worksheets can also be use to recount stories as a means of learning how to differentiate parts of a story. Use them with the Xander and Panda or Hartley Knows How stories to build literacy skills.
